Lymphatic Drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage is a massage therapy technique that falls within the field of physiotherapy and therapeutic massage techniques and is aimed at "activating the functioning of the superficial lymphatic system to improve the elimination of interstitial fluid and large molecules and facilitate their evacuation".

The main application of therapeutic manual lymphatic drainage is in the treatment of lymphoedema, and it is the treatment of choice in the case of elephantiasis, cellulitis, traumatic oedemas or lymphatic complications following surgery.

Treatments are carried out in all our physiotherapy centres.
