Matia Fundazioa selects Doctors to work in Bermingham Hospital and Argixao Center. In Matia Foundation we are an organization with more than 130 years of experience in the geriatrics sector. We have more than 1200 professionals, and we are currently looking to incorporate Medicine professionals to our team, for two centers in Guipúzcoa.

• ABANCA's Obra Social, in collaboration with Matía Instituto, launches this novel initiative, the result of rigorous joint work since 2017 between both entities.
• This program is part of the "Emotions and Loneliness" series aimed at reflecting on the emotional well-being of the elderly and the stereotypes associated with this stage of life.

• The new model of care that is intended to be built jointly between institutions, the care sector and community agents, while working on a shared culture of social care.

● According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 2 people have ageist behaviors towards older people. 

• Edadismo-kalkulagailu baten bidez, adinekoen lekukotza batzuen eta manifestu baten bidez, #SoyMayorSoyComoTú kanpainak herritar guztiak gonbidatzen ditu adineko pertsonenganako diskriminazioari, estereotipoei eta aurreiritziei buruz hausnartzera.

• Según la Organización Mundial de la Salud, 1 de cada 2 personas tiene comportamientos edadistas hacia las personas mayores.
