The Minister of Employment and Social Policies of the Basque Government, Beatriz Artolazabal, said today that the "Matia Foundation is an excellent model for promoting the capabilities of the elderly".
Artolazabal made these statements in a statement after meeting this morning with the management of the Matia Foundation to analyze the model of care for the elderly as interdisciplinary work and based on the personalization of services to users and their families, the Basque Government reported in a statement.
The meeting was also attended by the president of the Matia Foundation, María del Carmen Garmendia, the scientific director, Mayte Sancho, and the director, Gerardo Amunarriz, as well as the Deputy Minister of Social Policies, Lide Amilibia.
